More Ship Display options on the Tonnage screen

Based on your feedback, we've provided you further choice as to how you wish the vessel positions on your Tonnage screens to display.

Users can now click on the Ship Display dropdown (used to be the "Ship Centric" toggle) to choose between:

  • Spot: Display open position per ship closest to today’s date
  • Most Recent: Display open position per ship most recently received
  • All Positions: Display all positions, including ETA positions. Ships may be displayed several times

Collapse & expand your bookmarked tabs!

We know some of you have dozens of bookmarked tabs per section, which forces you to scroll most of the time. You can now collapse and expand your bookmarked tabs under each platform section.

This will help you save precious space and focus on your most important business views whenever you have numerous bookmarked tabs 😊

Advanced security layer when logging in

We've added a new Security section to your Settings.

You can now setup Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) to ensure your Shipfix platform is more secure when logging in with your Shipfix credentials only.

Once 2FA set up, a 6-digit code will be sent to your mobile via SMS which you'll be required to input whenever you login 🔐

Powerful and accurate email searches

We've improved the email searches when using the 'Body and Subject' Input from the inbox search bar. You can now search partial words, exact words, or exclude them the same way you would do on Google 💪🏼

The following examples explains the outcome of various keyword searches:

Input querySearch results
afraWill show emails that contain (either in the body or subject) the words afra OR aframax (i.e: a partial word search)
"afra"Will show emails that contain (either in the body or subject) the word afra (i.e: an exact word search)
peter smithWill show emails that contain (either in the body or subject) BOTH the words peter AND smith, not in order (e.g: will show emails containing peter yves smith)
"peter smith"Will show emails that contain (either in the body or subject) the words peter smith in order (e.g: will NOT match emails containing peter yves smith)
afra -aframaxWill show emails that contain (either in the body or subject) the word afra, but NOT emails containing aframax (which are excluded due to the '-' symbol)
"peter yves" -smithWill show emails that contain (either in the body or subject) the words peter yves in order, but NOT emails containing smith (which are excluded due to the '-' symbol)

Enabling private tags & notes

You can now make Private Notes across on the back of Orders, Tonnage, Fixtures, Ships & Ports, visible only to you!

You also now have the option to create Private Tags just for you, and Custom Tags can become Shared Tags.

API to downloads Orders, Tonnage & Fixtures

Upon request of a number of clients with large research and data analytics teams, we are happy to announce that we have released an API to download Orders, Tonnage and Fixtures 🙌🏼

This means that analysts and research teams can access data in raw formats, that Shipfix has extracted and structured, and run analysis outside of the Shipfix platform.

Please get in touch if you'd like to enable this for you or your colleagues 📈

Simply view the last cargoes transported on each vessel

Following our release of the Voyages tab on the Ship Directory where you can see the historical voyages undertaken by each vessel, we have released, within the Particulars section of the Ship Directory, the ability to simply view (and edit if required) the Last Predicted Cargoes of each vessel 🚢

What they loaded, where, when, how much of it, and how Shipfix is confident with it 💪🏼
